Funny Things We Say

Funny Things We Say is an animated projects created as a part of the LCC Graduate Residency Programme 2018 – an artist-in-residence programme for the graduates of London College of Communication, where I studied Illustration & Visual Media. The theme of the programme for that year was Diverse Communities. I've worked on a series of 15 animations based on the funny and bizarre idioms from different parts of the world. Idioms and our use of language can say so much about the sense of humour and the different characters of our cultures. They highlight our uniqueness as well as certain similarities that we share across different cultures and communities.
